Subscriptions for 0,000 International Derby at Dorval Number Sixty-Seven. Montreal. Que., November 22. It would look as the International Derby planned by the Dorval Jockey Club, to be run at its next summer meeting is going to be the best race In quality and strength of field ever brought off in Canada. It will undoubtedly lie the richest and most ambitious. fact the Dorval Jockey Club, youngest as it is the mile track racing organizations, and baby the Canadian Racing Associations, has in this proposition shown the way to all the others. It has at once put Itself in the van in ideas and enterprise. The conditions of this race are as follows: "0,000 Guaranteed Value The International Derbv. For three-year-olds foals of 1011. By subscriptions of individuals, 50 each. The subscription to entitle the holder to name, on or before May 1, 1511, three horses, of which two only may start. The subscription also to be subject to sale or transfer up to the time of naming horses provided a certiticd copy of such transfer lie tiled with the Dorval Park Jockey Club on or before May 1, 1514. It is further understood that the holder ot a subscription may lease the running qualities of one or more horses for the race provided that such lease is consummated 011 or before the time of naming horses, and, that a certiticd copy of such lease is filed with the general manager of Dorval Park Jockev Club on or before the time of naming horses. Starters to pay 50 additional each. The jockey club to add to subscriptions and the starting fees sum sutlicient to make the value of the stake 0,000, of which ,000 to the second, ,500 to the third and 00 to the fourth horse. Weight for age. Winners in 1914 of ,000 to carry two pounds extra, of ,000 five pounds extra. Non-winners at any time of ,000 allowed Ave pounds. Maidens ten pounds. One mile and a quarter. Entries to close November 15, 1013. To be run at the summer meeting at Dorval Park." Intending subscribers were called upon to make their subscriptions by Saturday last, November 15. Of course subscriptions mailed 011 that day were good.
