Clare Duncan, foaled in 1802. by Aretino Anna Clare, recently died at Shady Brook Farm, Hutchison. Ky. She was the dam of "Clare Russell. Arnold K., etc. Catcsby Woodford has looked to Dick Welles the following mares: Louise B., Olga Nethersole. Magna Stella anil Chorryola. Hal Price Headley reports that Frederick Johnsons bav mare Ballymeiia. by Adam Eliangowaii. foaled on January 17 a chestnut lilly by Superman. Air. Johnson bought Ballymeiia at the sale of the late Charles Kohlers stud last September for ,000. She will be mated with Uncle this season.
