NOTES OF THE TURF. .7. W. Johnson is reported as eager to match Sir Edgar against any other two-year-old at Charleston for ,000 a side. Caugh Hill, which recently started in a race at Charleston after a long absence, went wrong last summer when lie was taken east by Archie Zimmer at the conclusion of a successful campaign in Kentucky. Zimmer got the horse ready for his Palmetto Parks races on the roads outside the track enclosure and has an idea that he will regain winning form after a bit of racing.
