LEXINGTON ASKS FOR THIRTEEN DAYS. Lexington, Ky.. March 17. The directors of the Kentucky Association, at a meeting todav, voted to request the Kentucky State Racine Conimission at its meeting next Friday for 1.". days for its forthcoming spring meeting here. The dates wanted are from Saturday, April 25, to and including Saturdav, May y. Overton 11. Chenault cast a dissenting vote, lie was in favor of 11 days, beginning Saturdav, April and ending Thursday. May 7. If the conimission grants Lexington the 13 days asked for. it will probably be asked to grant the New Louisville Jockey Club ami the Douglas Park Joekev Club each fifteen days. Chairman .Milton Young "of the conimission. has made no expression for publication mi the matter of dates, but it is said bv some or Ins close friends that lie is not in favor of granting more days for racing this spring than last vear. John Maddens Ivory P.ells foaled a brown colt by Mar Shoot at Hamburg Place vesterday. Ivorv Rolls is the dam of Old Rosebud, bv Uncle, and Ivan Relic, bv Ogden.
