OLD ROSEBUDS INJURY NOT SERIOUS. New York. June .I. It turns out that Old Rosebud was not as seriously injured in his race in 1 the Withers as was at first feared. Instead of having suffered a bowed tendon, the great three-year-eld gelding merely ruptured the sheath of Hie tendon, and while j| will keep him on the shelf for BOUM time, it should not throw him out of training for the season. Last year Old Rosebud I Buffered a similar injury at Saratoga. It had been 1 the intention of trainer Wreir to start the sou of Uncle in Hi.- Belmont Stakes, lmt this present injury will make necessary a let-up that will prevent his being a starter. It is thought that if no other Complications develop. Old Rosebud will lie ; as goad as ever Ixdore the raciuc scene shifts to Saratoga. ____
