CONNAUGHT PARK TO FALL INTO LINE. Ottawa, Ont., October 20. The question of installing pari-inutuob at Conuaught Park will be decided at a meeting of the new executive to be held this week. Manager Rohrback announced some tlmo ago that the Connaught Park Club would banish - the bookmakers as soon as the Dorval management - decided to do so. Now Dorval has come out la i favor of the mutnels and it is expected that a i similar announcement will be forthcoming from the u Connaught Park association this week. It is understood that President Hal B. McGiverin i intends to retire. He made a statement last week that he would be obliged to drop out, but is being I unrod to continue. It is understood that Hon. Clifford Sifton will be elected president and Mr. T. A. Allearu vice-president. Albert Rohrback will continue as manager and Joseph McLennan as racing - secretary. A better share of holiday dates will be requested at the next meeting of the Canadian ii Racing Associations.
