ENTRIES FOR PIMLICO STAKES. Baltimore, Md., October 23. Entries for the Pim-Hco Nursery, to lie run next spring, and the Walden, Bowie, Elkridge Steeplechase and Green Spring Valley Steeplechase, to be run during the coming fall meeting of the -Maryland Jockey Club at Pimlico, November 2 to 12, come from most of the large stables now racing in the east, and which usually appear at Pimlico, the horses being among the best of those eligible to each event. The Clabaugh Memorial, for two-year-olds, has been abandoned as a stake, as previously announced, but will probably be opened as an overnight race next spring for local breeders. This race, while productive of interest in the past, has not accomplished all its promoters hoped for, and last year an appeal was taken to the Jockey Club from a decision of the local stewards, thereby causing some unfavorable comment. The stakes to be decided are not numerous, but they are valuable enough to be eagerly competed for, especially the Bowie Handicap, such cracks as RoauierStromboli, Gainer and Buskin being among the prospective contestants. The entries nre as follows: Pimlico Nursery, for two-year-olds; foals of 1913: to be run at the spring meeting of 1015; ,000 added; four and one-half furlongs August Belmonts Tee Caddy, Fernrock, Highhorse; W.
