MORE ARRIVALS AT JUAREZ. El Paso. Tex., October SO. Every day brings tha arrival of thoroughbreds from various points to swell the list of those already quartered at the Juarez course. The large number of horses already at the track would lead the casual observer to the belief that the opening day of the coming meeting was but a matter of a few days away. Those that are now here have been taking to their work nicely and there will be more than enough horses tit and ready to fill the first weeks program. Among the latest important arrivals is the large stable of J. F. Newman and Son. from the ranch at Sweetwater, Tex., headed by that great filly Pan Zar-eta. Others in the Newman string are .osefina JCar-ate, Bells Brother. Doctor Gatlin. Rebecca. Serf Savin. Little Abe, Ethel Franks, II Savin, and one other. Other recent arrivals include the string of J. C. Ferris, which arrived here Monday from Vancouver. P.. C, along with the horses of R. Hipley. Mr. Ferris did not accompany his stable, he going on to Kentucky to purchase several racers for the winter campaign. In the Ferris string are that old campaigner. Polls. Hester, Dalston. Felina, Thaka, Viander and Magikon. In the Kipley shipment are Trulane, Maznik, Judge Sale, Belcolore, and Al. Wormwood. The stable of Field Bros, has arrived from Missouri and consists of seven head. This stable is trained by J. A. eckiiigton, and is said to contain some likely performers. The stable of G. A. Reynolds, consisting of the old sprinter Buck Thomas, aud one other, has also arrived.
