CONTEST OVER CURTIS GUNN ESTATE, Curtis A. Gunn, former turfman, died on Sept. 14, leaving an estate valued at 30,000, all but 0,000 of which Is personaltv. According to the terms of the will, filed for probate on Sept. 21. Mrs. Pluma B. Gunn Rodgers, a grandniece and foster daughter, is bequeathed 0,000, and several friends are left smaller amounts. Mrs. Kittle N. Gunn of 4119 Drexol boulevard, the widow, who is named executrix, filed a petition asking that letters of administration to collect be issued to the Hibernian Banking assoca-tion. She alleged that undue influence was used to induce Mr. Gunn to make his purported last will; that some of the estate was in the hands of irresponsible persons, and that it probably would be lost unless action was taken. Now Charles L. Rodgers of 1444 Hyde Park boulevard, has filed a petition asking that, unless-Mrs. Gunn takes letters testamentary under the will, such letters be granted to him. as he Is named her successor "in case she shall refuse to act or for any reason be unable to fully execute her trust as such executrix." The petition also asks a hearing of the will on Dec. 10.
