SOME OF THE BELMONT PARK HORSES All the Knapp and Parsons thoroughbreds have been raining well at Belmont Park under the care of Kenneth Karrick who Is in charge of the string during his fathers absence in Kentucky Old Yankee Notions appears to be the most for ¬ ward of the lot and should race exceedingly well in the sprints nt Belmont Park Kasknskia the star of the Oneck Stable division is being given n careful preparation for the Ladles Handicap a mile affair to be decided at Belinoat Park on June T Present indications point to this being her first stake appearance of the year The filly is highly regarded by Mr Knapp and her record last year was a notable one She ranked with the best fillies of her years and her performance in the Futurity in which she finished second was a good one It was the wish of her owner that she be given every opportunity to develop and for this reason she has not been hurried in her preparation for tiie races racesSprite Sprite and Tranid will be missed from the races this year Sprite became a bleeder last season and rather titan race such an uncurtain proposition II K Knapp retired her to II P Heailleys stud Tranid showed miicli bad temper during 1914 and while she was only a tlireeyearoM Sehtryler Par ¬ sons sent her to Capt E B Cassatts Chester brook Farm last fall There she was mated to Aeronaut
