HANDICAP AT HAVANA TO FRIENDLESS. Beats Good Band of Three -Year- Olds in Oriental Park Feature — Several Horses Claimed. Havana. Cuba. January IS. — The Pinar del Rio Handicap, todays feature at Oriental Park, brought four of the best three year-olds on the groaads to the post and resulted in an easy victory for Friend -loss, which beat Al Hudson a length. The winner was h.avily supported iu the ring. Jockey O. AAr. Carroll, who had the mount on Sir AAellons. complained to the stewards that Jockey Ambrose, who had the mount on Narcissus, took hold of his bridle at the turn out of the hark stretch. His complaint will be investigated by the stewards. Large fields went to the post in the first two races. Both furnished interesting contests and both winners. Lord AYolls and Donucr came from the rear and finished gamely. The three-year-old Moonshiner, which J. W. tangle brought to Cuba, dietl as the result of ever col. traded en route from Howie. Pierrot, winner of the sixth race today, was bid up by his former owner. O. H. Hryson. from .00 to sl.Jtl.i. bur was retained. Three of the beaten horses in the sixth race were churned. E. K. Hryson claimed Athens for K72S. K. M. Hall got Jerry for ,"i, and A. J. Mark » took Hank Bill for 25.
