STATISTICS OF RACING AT HAVANA. The winter meeting of the Cuba -American Jockey Club opened at Oriental Park on December i. racing lieing confined to three days a week until Christmas week, when a daily program was arranged. Since the first of the year racing has been conducted every day except Mondays. Since the opening day in December, up to and including the program of January 31. foity-two days of sport haw been provided, during which time 204 races have been decided ru.d 09,885 in purses distributed amo.ig the successful horsemen. On the whole the racing has been spirited, fast time has been recorded and on several occasions tl:e capacity of Oriental Park has been taxed to the limit to accommodate the vast throngs that have witnessed the sport. H. G. Kedwell is repeating his success of last year at Oriental Park, and is again the leading •owiiT witli S9. 110 to his credit. J. B. Goodman, with earnings of S5.095. I M. Hedrick with 94,780, A.
