JOCKEY WINGFIELD RIDES THREE WINNERS. His Brilliant Work in the Saddle Feature of Todays Sport at Oriental Park. Havana. Cuba. March 9.— The fifth race, a dash of a mile, was featured by the Cuba -American Jockey Club today, and John J. MeCafterty furnished the winner in Reno, which beat her opponents easily. Wingfield kept her under restraint until rounding the far turn, where she assumed an easy lead and at the finish was only cantering. Sable was easily the best of the three-year-olds in the opening race. Wingfield nursing her during the early stages and then sending her forward to score the easiest kind of a victory over Old Man Crit and Marblehead. with Magnetina. the betting selection, out of the money. Jockey Wingfield rode three winners during tho afternoon. He rode u brilliant race on Lantana in the closing race when he landed the Dr. Leggo filly a winner by a neck after a thrilling stretch struggle with Feather Duster and Fonctionuaire.
