SHIPMENT OF ENGLISH HORSES DELAYED. New York. March 14. — One shipment of thoroughbreds from England has lieen helil up for want of shipping facilities. This is a band of fifty two that were to lie sent over by Dr. C. Smith of Kent. England. In the band were thirty tuo year-olds. fifteen three year olds and seven older horses. Patsy MacOermott was commissioned to find quarters for the horses and he engaged stabling at Gravesend. but later, when it was found that they could, not be shipped at this time, lie changed his plans, and it will bo much later in the season when they will be sent over. The present intention is to offer the horses for sale during the Saratoga meeting.
