OLD ROSEBUDFORSARATOGA NOMINATED IN SEVERAL OF THE IMPORTANT STAKE FIXTURES AT THE SPA. Moscowa Is Also Named for the Long Distance Events — Madden Big Nominator — Throe Juvenile Stakes Receive Over 200 Entries Each. New York. Match 15.— F. Ambrose Clark has made an entry in the Saratoga Handicap for this year. His candidat- is Soothsayer, an imported three-year-old son of Dark Ronald— Arietta II. Jefferson Livingston, whose stable did so well at New Orleans luring the winter months, has named bott Colonel Yennie and Royal II. for the Saratoga Handicap, while Diamond and Bullion are named iu the fixtures exclusively for three-year-olds. Diamond is also named for both the Alabama and the Travers. Frank Weir has named II. C. Applegates good gelding Old Rosebud in the Saratoga flsadtfap. as well as the cap, Cbamplain. Merchants and Citizens and the Delaware. J. O. Keenc has nominated his long-distance performer. Moscowa. in the Saratoga and other handicaps, ami the Saratoga Cap. Katenka and Yermila are iiis nominations for the Alabama. He has named nine baported fillies in the 191J running of the Alabama, whip- he made a like number of imported nominations for the 1919 running of the Travels. John K. Madden is represented in the Saratoga Handicap by Defease, Hendrie, Milkman and Gillies. The master of Hamburg Place also took out a sub scription in the Saratoga and is the heaviest nominator in the Alabama and Travers for 1918 and 1919. For the Alabama be has named nineteen for 1018, and eighteen for 1919. For the Travers his nominations are four in 191S and twenty in 1919. William I. Orrs fast sprinter Leochares will be seen at Saratoga. Trainer John Bowers has named him for the Delaware Handicap. Other nominations made by Bowers are Harry Shaw and Portlight.
