IMPROVEMENTS AT D0RVAL PARK. Montreal, Que., May 8.- -Mnaager Fn-d. Bicbnrd anil Victor Lcm.iy, two of the dircclors of the Dor-val lackey Club, along with Raciag Beeretary Bheridaa lark. Halted Dorval yeaterday and decided on farther plans for the meeting, which opens thai anadian Racing Associations season in Montreal. There will l»e an iniprovement made in Ihe jockeys room for this ttmmm. A gallery will be erected over the -tlTic- of the club so that the boys can witn -ss the running of the races while not riding. In previous seasons the boys were i-onfin-d to the Jockey rooms, which overlook the railroad tracks. The sand put on the track last autumn has mixed in with the loam, so that the footing is better now than at any time since the plant was erected. There are one or two strings of horses there, which ar-being given their regular work over the track each day. Manager Richard and Victory Lemay have decided to follow out the plans decided on after list autumns meeting and will make every effort to make the meeting an attractive one.
