TAKE CASE UNDER ADVISEMENT. New Orleans, La.. May 10. — Judges Baker and Clireti n late yesterday afternoon took under advisement the charge against Dr. Gaoflga A. Mac-Dianuid and the other directors of the Business Mens Uacing Association that they violated the Locke law at the last Fair Grounds meeting. Attorney John P. Sullivan succeeded in getting into the record a letter from Ijoon Lo-ke. author of the Locke law, in which Mr. Locke said that his act was not framed to stop thoroughbred horse racing, but waa a direct attack BBM the gambling feature. District. Attorney Chandler Luzenlicrg contended in hi. argument that the Palm Oarden betting was a subterfuge.
