JOCULAR dropped out of contention soon after the start. KASHMIR, probably best, was badly cut off soon after the start and again suffered from interference 111 the last eighth and tired near the end.B. B. JOHNSON raced prominently all the way and held on well. KIRSTIKS CUB set a good pace, but quit in the last eighth. CHARLEY NOLTE quit after rounding into the stretch.
