CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey W. Young has been suspended for the rest of King Edward Park meeting because of rougli riding. "Jockey L. Gray rode the last three winners and carried off the honors of the opening day at Hill-crest Tark Tuesday. Jockey H. Dennler was set down for the remainder of the King Edward. John Sanfords three-year-old Achilles, a son of Star Shoot Veil, appears to possess a good turn of speed. Achilles has won his last typ starts and finished third in his only other start of the year. Thorncliffe Park, where the Thorncliffc Park Racing- and Breeding Association will hold its meeting beginning July 21, is nearing a state of completion and those who have seen it pronounce the plant one of the most beautiful in the country.
