CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The four-year-old Turco has three straight victories to his credit at Jefferson Park. J. W. Considine, who purchased Lady Edwina and Benevolent at the sale of the late Oscar Lcwis-olm horses Friday at Durlands, is a theatrical promoter of Seattle, Wash. The old gelding Brighouse is continually "knocking at the door." He has been unplaced but three times in his last sixteen starts without, however, a victory to his credit. J. Arthurs filly Edith Baumann, has won her last two starts at Jefferson Park. This filly runs equally well over a fast or heavy track and appears able to carry her speed over a good distance of ground.
