IjOHN SANFORDS RECENT IMPORTATIONS Thirteen Weanlings Shipped from France Promise Exceptionally Well from Breeding Standpoint. New York, December 2S. Among the John San-ford weanlings which arrived from France on the steamship Manhattan are many of notable breeding. Nearly all of them are out of young mares. Padoue, Fille de Guerre, Gloriata and Fiat Lux are by Ajax, the great brother of the sire Adam. There are three American-bred mares represented. May Dora, Love Apple and Bally Cliff, the latter by Clifford I.allyroe. consequently a sister to Molly Brant. The stallion Kcouen was a good racer and is by St. Frusquin. dam a sister to Star Shoot.
