t * STATISTICS OF THE THIRTY-DAY MEETING OF THE BUSINESS MENS LEAGUE AT 0AKLAWN PARK i + — _ _ _ + The spring meeting of the Hot Springs Business Mens League, which began at Oaklawn Iark on February LS and came to an end April 3. embraced thirty racing days, during which time 19,3 races were decided and L"_.1." 0 distributed in purses. The daily average distribution amounted to ,071. The meeting, from a financial standpoint, was the most successful over conducted at Oaklawn Iark. The racing proved interesting and attracted crowds of large proportions, especially during the first three weeks of the meeting. Considering the ordinary calibre of the horses engaged in the sport, the racing was all that could lie expected and form was fairly well observed. K. L. Bresler was the leading money winner among the owners, his racers accounting for the goodly sum of i|i4.1." . J. B. Coodman was the runner up. with .7.V to his credit.
