ItKooKS ap|M-ared a certain winner after having displayed the most si ced to the last fence, but tired licrccptihly when challenged. W. F. KNEBELKAMP ran a good race. HOME SWEET HOME moved up rapidly in the stretch, but appeared to sulk under punishment. MATIN huag on longer than usual and outstayed WATERPROOF in the final drive. The latter was outrun earlv. but gained steadily and finished fast. DAYBREAK swerved ont in the stretch and tired badly.
