PRES WILSON CANCELS DRAFT CALLS By order of President Wilson Provost Marshal General Crowder yesterday directed the cancellation of all outstanding draft calls stopping the move ¬ ment during the next five days of 252000 men and setting aside all November calls for over 300000 men menSecretary Secretary Baker announced that so far as possible all men called and who have not completed their training will be turned back to civil life at once onceA A small number of men in eastern states com ¬ menced entraining at 6 a m yesterday for canton ¬ ments under calls and the cancellation comes too late to affect their status They will be cJn sidered as in the army until demoblized Men hot yet entrained whether specially inducted or assem ¬ bled by general call for whom the day arid hour of service his been set by draft boards will be considered as honorably discharged and so paid paidCalls Calls for the navy and marine corps are not af ¬ fected by the cancellation and entraininerits of men for these services will continue as ordered Draft boards will continue classification of regis ¬ trants of September 12
