" SOME QUEER ENGLISH PLACING At Kempton Park, one of the London, England, courses, October 10 in the Half Moon Nursery Handicap, for two-year-olds, the judges "dead-heated" White Bell. Somerset and Buck for second place, a queer incident, but not so novel in a placing way as at Lewis, England, some years ago, when the first two horses in a two-year-old race also "dead-heated," as did the next three, a head away for second place.
