JOHN SANFORD GOING TO ENGLAND SOON NEW YORK, N. Y., December 0. John Sanford and Preston Rurch, manager of his stable, contemplate a trip to Europe as soon as Mr. Sanford recovers from a slight ailment of one of his eyes. Mr. Sanford is now in Baltimore receiving treatment. There are upward of two hundred horses quartered at the Rcnnliig track at Washington. Mutt Smart has fifty, including nearly twenty yearlings. Among others who are wintering there are W. P. Rurch. R. F. Carman, John F. Schorr and Dr. Tyree. Tiiere is a slight epidemic of distemper among the yearlings, hut their condition is reported satisfactory.
