ANOTHER FOR BILLY KELLY Star of Commander Ross Stable Wins His Fourth Straight Victory PIMILICO Md May 13 Good old Billy Kelly the star racer in the Commander Ross stable scored his fourth straight victory when he won Class A of the Pimlico Graded Handicap this afternoon He was ridden by Fairbrother shouldered 120 pounds made all the pace and racing under slight restraint throughout never left the result in doubt always holding Pride of India safe while Vice Chaiiman the only other starter was a distant trailer trailerTodays Todays races were run over a heavy track which accounted for the small fields that faced the bar ¬ rier rierJames James Arthurs Alva came back with another good performance this afternoon when he won the opener for which he was a well backed favorite He was too fast for his opponents and drew away into a long lead after going an eighth Riehcreek evidently became nervous in the last sixteenth as he went to the whip and rode the eolt out at the end endWidow Widow Bedotte after several disappointing races finally made good when she won the second race Her victory was rather a lucky one for had Gregory been able to have kept Heldn Atkin straight the latter would have undoubtedly won Helen Atkin had a fivelength lead just before the turn into the homestretch was reached when she bolted to the outside fence This put her out of the running and in the strecth drive Widow Bedotte outgamed Aunt Kate KateElmer Elmer Johnson made most of the pace in the steeplechase and eventually won by a long margin The result might have been different had Sea Tale got over the last fence without falling Sea Tale was gaining on the leader at the time and was within a length of him when he went down He was remounted ny Keating and finished third thirdQuick Quick Run showed a game performance in the fourth race when he stood a drive from the top of the homestretch to the finish and beat Excuse Me out a head It was a close finish and the winner in doubt until the last few strides stridesWhalebone Whalebone the favorite won the sixth from Sobrigade and Smart Guy and the seventh fell to Ettahe which repeated his victory of yesterday
