WOODBINE RACING STATISTICS ONTARIO JOCKEY CLUBS SPRING MEETING GREATEST GREATESTIN IN ITS HISTORY J K L ROSS GATHERS IN INLIONS LIONS SHARE OF RICH PRIZES The Canadian racing season of 1921 began at Woodbine Park May 21 During the usual seven days of racing the Ontario Jockey Club distributed in stakes and purses the goodly sum of 121510 making the daily average distribution 1735S an exceedingly high figure Featured by the sixtysecond running of the Kings Plate the Toronto Cup and many other features both on the flat and through the Held the meeting just ended is said to have been the greatest ever held at the famous Woodbine course The at ¬ tendance was wonderful even on days when the weather was not favorable for outdoor sport The rac ¬ ing was of the usual highclass standard always expected at Woodbine and always maintained by the Ontario Jockey Club Commander J K L Ross powerful stable while meeting with several unexpected reverses garnered the lions share of the prizes
