AVon driving; second and third the same. MAX MEADOWS, showing much speed and improvement, fencing cleanly, led nearly all the way and outstayed DANDY in the final drive. The latter moved up gamely in the second turn of the field and made a menacing challenge in the stretch, but was tiring after getting to the leader. LYTLE lost considerable ground when going to some of the fences and could not get to the leaders when asked. CALLER HERRIN was always outrun.
