EMPIRE CITY RACING STATISTICS DAILY DISTRIBUTION AVERAGES OVER 1,000, WITH THE POWERFUL RANCOCAS STABLE HEADING THE WINNING OWNERS The recent Empire City meeting extended from July 0 to July 30, inelnsive, a total of nineteen racing days. In patronage ami racing it was a success. In its course 11 1 races were run for a total of 18,7!0, meaning a daily average turned over to owners of the healthy sum of .iri,L,tj, a portion of which came from excess money in selling and claiming races. In fact, heavy hidding up now and then was quite a feature of the meeting. It was a highly profitable meeting for the Raneocas Stable, nearly a fourth of the total distribution falling to that establishment. 0. A. Stoneham was a distant second in stable earnings, with Harry Payne Whitney ranking third. The owners whose horses won 00 or more were the following: Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt.
