0D0M SAYS AKNUSTI IS WELL NAMED SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., August 30, -Trainer George Odom is of the. opinion that Ihe name Aknusti is the most appropriate that ct.uld be chosen for the two-year-old Dick Finnell1 Alice Baird coll, which he trains for R. L. Geiry. AU nusti, according to those wtdl informed on the subject, is an Indian name and means "expense." This, says Odom, and owner Gerry as well, is just what the colt has proved to be, as he is still a maiden. As a yearling Aknusti performed in a liiiiuner that indicated that he would be a star perfoihier this year, but he failed to live up to expectations. He has found his way into selling races now, and it should not be long until he leaves the runt of non winners.
