CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The two-year-old Britcroney has been gelded. I Salgeorge pulled up lame after finishing .second in the seventh race at Duffcrin Park Wednesday. Trainer, S. C. Hihlreth of the Raiicocas Stable lias decided to send jockey L. Fa tor to Latonia to ride Grey Lag in the Latonia Championship Stakes , on Saturday. W. D. Millard reached Latonia from the Pacific coast with the horses Lonely, It and Ollic Wood, which he will race here in his own colors. E. K. Powers, a Montreal horseman, has purchased the two-year-old Dark Ages from J. I. Atkin for the reported price of ?M,i00. The filly is now at Thorncliffe Park. W. V. Walsh, who has been at his home in Lexington for the past month under medical treatment, has recovered his health fully and lias resumed his duties at Latonia as one of the official timers. Jefferson. Livingston is at. Latonia after a visit to the J. J!. Ilespess farm -n Erlnngcr, Ky.. where he is interested in the band of colts sired by Col. Ycniie and Royal, which at one time raced with :iiiuch success in the Livingston colors.
