CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The stable of R. Warfield, comprising four head, has arrived at Montreal from Toronto. Jockey J. Kennedy escaped with minor bruises when his mount, Semper Stalwart, fell shortly after the start of the sixth race Saturday at Mount Royal Park. A small blaze broke out at the "red hot" counter uuder the grandstand at Mount Royal Park previous to the running of the fifth race Saturday, and following a cry . of "fire" a near-panic ensued. The stand, crowded to capacity, was emptied of its occupants, who rushed pell-mell to the lawn, but no one was injured.
