The bill al-o provides for the setting aside of an an uual fund of SIOO.HM from the states racing revenues for distribution to county fair assotia-i Itoaa, The bid would provide all annual revenue or gtCa.aM from laitog an increase of approximately 00,000 over the present returns. It would elim inate the annual computation of track profits l y state auditors and consequently allow the racing associations to keep their business affairs private It is pointed out by advocates of the bill that it will give the racing advocates in the legislature a strong lever for use against future attacks on the siwrt. as the various comity delegates would not be likelv to advocate banning a sport which was responsible for a S10O.00O fund for the benefit of the various county fairs of the state. Sanction of the Bsaamaad bill was given hy the Maryland Association of Agricultural Fairs at a meeting held here. M. e - .. . ■ . ■
