NO BETTING AT JACKSONVILLE TRACK BOWU, Md.. April •"".. -James Parson arrived fiom Jacksonville this morning, at arhleh point he Bttaaaai off for a few days en route from Hav ina. Mr. Parson brings glowing re|x rts of the Btesead meeting now in progress at Jacksonville and stales that -i.lKlO people were on hand lo welcome the thoroughbred back to the flower state. Belling of any description on the grounds is strictly taboo, but the meeting has the enthusiastic support of all the merchants in the citv. Messrs. W. A. Carter and J. R. Hannaford. sponsors of the meeting, are recipients of many congratulatory messages from sportsmen throughout the coiinliy who look upon the move as the right kind to bring racing back to the flower slate on its peeper plane. Plans :,re already under way to hold a brief meeting next fall under conditions similar to those on-vailing at present. « a
