LUCKY HOUR BADL INJURED NEW YORK N Y May 12 Lucky Hour the Lexington Stable threeyearold that was declared out of both the Derby and the Preakness by reason of sickness met with a peculiar accident this morning that may result more seriously than the sick ¬ ness that has kept him away from his im ¬ portant engagements While galloping he was kicked on the nose and knocked down falling on the negro exercise boy W Robin ¬ son Andy Schuttinger was riding a three yearold that was leading Lucky Hour in the set and when his mount stumbled as he regained his feet he lashed out with both heels catching Lucky Hour fairly in the head The exercise boy was taken to the hospital where it was found that the muscles of one leg had been badly torn but no other injury was found It was the first time Lucky Hour had been on the track since coming up from Maryland
