NEW ORLEANS RACING CAPITAL STOCK RAISED NEW ORLEANS, La., July 31. By a vole of 710 shares against 20 the stockholders of the Business Mens Racing Association this afternoon supported a proposal to raise the capital stock of the association from 00,000 to 00,000. A meeting of the board of directors will be called presently to ratify or reject the raise of values. It is expected that the stock will be raised. John Dymond announced following the meeting the disposal to be made of 0,000 of the new funds. No provision has been made for the payment of the debt due the city. This amounts to about ?85,000. Plowing of the infield was begun today for the purpose of laying out a golf course.
