LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS M. Fator made a substantial addition to his rapidly increasing total by riding ten winners last week and thereby taking the saddle honors for that period. Many of the moro prominent jockeys were idle, but the majority of them will get back in action with the opening of Saratoga meeting today and the contest for riding supramacy will be continued with increased vigor and considerable rivalry, particularly so between the boys of the East and the Middle West. For the present the records of the thirty leaders stand as follows, with their performances from January 1 to and racing of Saturday last included: Jockey Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. P.C. L.W.
