CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Jockey Willie Sims, a noted rider a decado or so ago, i3 galloping horses at the Fair Grounds. Permission has been granted to name a five-year-old daughter of Loki and Invent-ress Maid of War. The yearlings being trained by Andrew Blakely and Willie Shields at the Fair Grounds and said to be quite forward in condition and progressing rapidly in their barrier education. All of the Coe yearlings wintering at Belmont Park under the watchful eye of trainer W. H. Karrick are home-bred. With the exception of one purchased from P. T. Chinn, all are reported to be thriving lustily.
