Hart Dernham motored in from California, where he spent the winter. •lames Rowe shipped up the major portion of the Whitney horses from the farm at Red Bank. N. J. He left several two-year-olds at the farm, which will be picked up later in the racing seu»-on_ The horses that C. P. Whitney entered for todays races were scratched when W. Con-mtantiiie failed to receive a license as a trainer. W. Sheedy arrived from Havre de Grace ■with four two-year-olds.
