BILLY MYER TAKEN ILL Billy Myer. well-known race track builder, is seriously ill at his home here, suffering from pneumonia. Myer was sui»erintendent of the Washington Park track last year. He helped to construct the old Harlem track in Chicago, Oaklawn Park at Hot Springs, Ark., and, when the old Saratoga course was gone over prior to 1918, it was Billy Myer who made it one of the fastest tracks in this country. It was at Saratoga in 1918. that Roamer ran a mile against time in 1 :34-"*i, thereby shatter. ng the long standing record of Salvator.
