DOLLY SETH TO THE FORE Scores in Easy Fashion in Junior Chamber of Commerce Fea ¬ ture at Omaha Track OMAHA Neb June 9 The Junior Cham ¬ ber of Commerce which is in convention in Omaha had its day at AkSarBen Field to ¬ day and the feature race a dash of five and onehalf furlongs was named in its honor The event was won by the Jones Stock Farms Dolly Seth which was making her initial bow at the course this year She scored in easy fashion after taking com ¬ mand early Sweeping Ann closed fast to be second and Shasta King was third The winner was decorated with a beautiful floral piece at the conclusion of the event eventThe The weather continued very warm but patrons did not seem to mind the heat and rooted lustily as the horses dashed down the stretch in the various races racesPelaika Pelaika was a real good thing in the third race and was backed to the exclusion of the others He made good with a vengeance winning the dash by four lengths after lead ¬ ing for the entire distance Question Mark was second and Robin third thirdSilent Silent Weapon a field horse making his first start of the meeting won the opening dash from a bulky band He was well up from the start and drew away near the finish St Nicholas nosed out Black Prince for second place placeMiss Miss Omaha a local favorite scored one of the most popular victories of the meeting when she won the second race She de ¬ feated Buck Pond by a narrow margin while Texas the favorite finished third
