Graf Und Stift, the German-bred winner of the first race yesterday, cost Francis Buchanan J2.400 as a yearling at. the Saratoga sales last August A son of Graf Ferry Neuluss, he was sold in the Hartsburg Stud consignment Trainer J. W- Healy had little confidence in the outlander and was all smiles after the race. The many friends of Louis Feustel were delighted when he recently acquired Peter Fiz, which won the Rockaway Claiming Stakes. Feustel purchased the colt privately from the Brookmeade Stable only a week ago. By Peter Pan Uffizzi, Peter Fiz comes by his speed and mud running ability honestly. Colorful was claimed out of the sixth race Tuesday by James Meehan for ?3,000. The Seer was claimed out of the third race and goes to J. M. Henrys stable. He was valued at ?2,000. a
