I NEW YORK TURF NOTES and NEW YORK, N. Y., June 22. Cantankerous, Cerulean, Tri-Color and Overlooked are being schooled through the field by trainer Vince Powers for the Green-tree Stable. Clem McCarty left last night for Montreal, where he will join the official family at Delorimier Park for the coming meeting. Trainer Fred Hopkins left Latonia yesterday after starting Whiskery on his way to Belmont Park, where the colt will be rested for a few we.eks. John J. Brady, Jr., traffic agent of the Thoroughbred Horse Association, made arrangements yesterday for shipments to Lexington, Lincoln Fields and Windsor. There will be space for several additional horses in each of the cars under reservation and horsemen contemplating shipments to those tracks are requested to communicate with Mr. Brady.
