WENT TO POST 2:43. AT POST 1 minute. Start good and clow. Won handily; second and third driving. KNOW-ME-GNOME worked his way up steadily and, finishing gamely, passed DORADO and BILLY BLACK and outfinislied AMBITION. The latter may have been best, having to race wide all the way and finishing with a rush. DOBADO raced into a clear lead and tired. BILLY BLACK showed excellent speed from the start, but tired in the final sixteenth. MISS CRUMP ran a fairly good race. LAST BITE and FLYING SHOT had scant excuse after the start. METAL MAN was racing head and head with BILLY BLACK when he ran out when turning for home. IRISH STAR showed early speed. Scratched 14831 Retaliate, 125; 14C39 Joan Gricr, 110; 14S33 Gay Farie, 110. Won easily; second and third driving. JOB jumped well and followed BETHANY under restraint through the first tnm of the field, then passed the latter when nearing the thirteenth jump and drew away on the flat. PHOSPHORE ran a good race throughout and finished fast. BETHANY showed the most speed, but made a bad landing at the thirteenth jump and pulled up very lame. DICE began rapidly from the outside, but swerved over towards the inside shortly after the start, then responded to hard riding when called on and nosed SDN EDWIN out in the final stride. SUN KDWIN raced into second place rapidly, stood a drive gamely and raced well to the end, but was held responsible for some crowding and was disqualified. GROUOHER met. with repeated interference and raced as if best. DISTRACTION finished resolutely under hard riding. BROOMS was crowded When nearing the elbow. Won handily; second and third driving. PEANUTS raced close up from the start under restraint and, moving up with great speed in the stretch, took the lead and was going away in the final drive. DISPLAY was outrun to the stretch turn, then came to the outside and, finishing with a rush, outgamed ESPINO at the end. The latter raced close up all the way and finished gamely. LIGHT CARBINE showed great early speed and saved ground where possible, but tired at the end. CHANCE PLAY raced in close up pursuit, but Quit when put to a drive. FOREVER AND EVER was badly outrun.
