PARTAKE suffered from early interference, but secured a clear course on the inside when entering the home stretch nnd finished in resolute fashion and got up to win in the final fifty yards. MERIDA hustled into a long early lead and saved ground where possible, but was inclined, to swerve in the stretch and tired near the end. ONDORA, prominent from the start, raced close up to the end. The latter raced close up and, finishing with a rush, was wearing the winner down -with every stride. NATURES DARLING closed a gap and finished fast. LADY McNEILL raced close up and had no mishaps. PHILOSOPHY, prominent from the start, raced to the leaders and took the lead, but was unable to withstand the winners belated rush. DIGNUS rared-into a good leadforthe first half mile, but tired right at the end. WOUTIIMORE, close up from the start, loomed up dangerously -when entering the home stretch, but was pinned in next to the rail when he attempted to come through on the inside.
