f FAIR MOUNT TURF NOTES 1 3 -COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 29. Robert S. Shelley, placing judge here, departed this afternoon for Chicago, where he will be engaged in a similar capacity at Lincoln Fields. Jlacing secretary J. B. Campbell goes to Fort Erie, Canada, tomorrow night to serve in the same capacity at that meeting. Judge Brownell Berryman, starter William Snyder, John Kissane and P. C. Galli-ger, other officials here, leave at the conclusion of this meeting for Ashland, Ky., where they will serve at Raceland. Mr. Berryman will be, the racing secretary, Mr. Galliger the clerk of scales and Mr. Kissane will be in charge of details in the secretarys office. A special train will depart for Raceland Tuesday, taking, many of the prominent stables, which raced here, including . those of W. M. Cain, V. F. Meehan, J. C. Gillem, H. Cavanaugh, "W. J. "Whalen and others. The stables of C. Irby, C. W. Moore and E. E. Major left today for Devonshire, Can. They are expected to return for the fall meeting. - W. M. Cain purchased Buz Fuz at private sale from "W. H. Blanton. Phil Reuters Gotham came out of his race yesterday with an injured leg, the hurt resulting when the horse scraped the fence. S. G. Sinclair, represented in the sixth race today by Rusovia, took Last Cent from H. G. Bedwell via the claiming route for ,000. It was erroneously reported yesterday that Cotlogomor had been shipped to Latonia but, according to present plans of trainer A. G. Woodman, the horse will remain here for the Jefferson Hotel Handicap, to be run Saturday at a mile and an eighth. P. C. Galliger has relinquished his duties as patrol judge here to serve, as placing judge, succeeding R. S. Shelley. Montfort Jones, who, with his brother B. B. Jones, owns Audley Farm Stable, is visiting here for several vdays. He has-been negotiating with H. E. Brown for the purchase of the contract of the apprentice jockey J. Armstrong. . ......
