| MARYLAND TURF NOTES t i « BALTIMORE. Md.. May 1. Jockey A. Abel was an arrival from Ken-tueky and will finish out the Maryland racing season. J. McTaggart was another rider that had his first mount of the season on a Maryland track. The Glen Riddle Farm loaded its horses on three express cars yesterday and shipped to Belmont Park. The James McGee horses were shipped to Churchill Downs yesterday. W. J. Curran is sending on Jack Iliggins to the Kentucky course tomorrow. A. E. Mexandcr has elecided to race at the Mount Royal meeting and will entrain for the Montreal track in the same car that carries .he Ferraro horses to Canada. El S. Welter had 125 horses at the barrier at Pimlico this morning. Among the lot were the banel of two-year-okls in the Morris and Walden stable. Rex Ceioper antl J. Booker have cancelled their stall reservations at rimlieo and are shipping to Toronto. Mrs. J. Simpson Dean acquiretl by private purchase from Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, the three-year-old brown colt Alans Bay and he raced in her colors and interest in the second race Monday afternoon. Mrs. Dean is a daughter of the late William Dupont. Theresa Joan and Spanish Princess were added to starter Miltons schooling list, which brings the total number up to twenty-one.
