CLAIMS AND SALES "[ Louis Strube claimed Epoch from W. J. Salmon out of the first race at Belmont Thursday for ,000. Charley Grande at private terms purchased from the Quincy Stable the horse : Nyack. He turned him over to C. Buxton I to train. At private terms he purchased from l Benjamin Block the following horses: Mor-den, Morush and Morgil. Mr. Block retired i from racing for the season and will sail for Europe Saturday night after witnessing the running of the Belmont Stakes.
