The Whitney nominations were among the e late arrivals received at the office of Russell Sweeney, resident manager of the Latonia i Jockey Club late yesterday. Although the e closing date for the nominations for the e seven stakes to be decided during the thirty - one day meeting, starting Saturday, June 25, was June 1. nominations postmarked up until midnight that date will be considered. .
